Nadi & Lautoka Sightseeing Tour (Full Day)

Your friendly coach driver will pick you up from Port Denerau or from your hotel in Nadi. We drive through Nadi town and a quick stop at the unique and colourful Hindu temple, the largest one in the southern hemisphere, a spiritual retreat where locals pray was built in traditional Indian architecture.

We proceed via Nadi back road to the charming Viseisei village which is the oldest settlement of Fiji(where the first Fijians landed). The local village tour guide will take you through the village for  approximately  30 to 45 minutes. Visiting a traditional Fijian village is amongst the best things to do in Fiji. Locals in the village live harmoniously with nature, so you can spot a variety of plantations and trees around the village.

As soon as you reach the village, you will receive a warm welcome from the locals, very friendly and inviting . Then we  head  towards our second largest city, which  is sited in the western side of Viti Levu, the largest island in Fiji. Many people describe Lautoka as the sugar city. Sugar cane is one of the major industry of Fiji and Lautoka is the base.

We drive past the Lautoka sugar mill,  wharf, hospital, fruits and vegetable market in the city center.

Lunch at your own cost from varieties of restaurants to choose from before heading to “The Garden of The Sleeping Giant” which contains a vast collection of more than 2000 varieties of magnificent Asian Orchids and Cattleya hybrids. Once the private collection of the late American Actor Raymond Burr.

We drive back to drop you off at Airport to a connecting fight, Nadi area hotels and Port Denarau.
